Keyaway collects nothing. There is no account, no login, and no server. Everything the app knows about you stays on your iPhone.

What stays on your device

• Your lock groups and the apps you chose. iOS never tells Keyaway which apps those are — the system hands the app opaque tokens that cannot be read back as names.
• Your key. The code in your printed key is random bytes generated on your phone. It is never transmitted. If you lose it and delete the app, nobody, including us, can recover it.
• Counts. How many times you opened a locked app, walked to your key, or used an emergency pass. Kept for the last 7 days (longer with Keyaway Pro) and never sent anywhere.

Camera

The camera is used only to read your key while the Unlock screen is open. Frames are examined for a QR code and discarded. Nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded.

Screen Time data

Keyaway uses the Family Controls, ManagedSettings and DeviceActivity frameworks to shield the apps you picked. By Apple's rules and by our own design, this data never leaves your device, is never used for advertising or measurement, and is never shared with anyone.

Advertising and analytics

None. Keyaway has no ad SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash reporter. There is nothing to opt out of.

Purchases

Keyaway Pro is a single one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your payment details. Your purchase status is stored on your device and in your Apple account receipt.

Children

Keyaway is a personal self-control tool for the owner of the device. It is not a parental control product and does not manage anyone else's device.

Your rights

Because no data is collected, there is nothing to request, export, or delete on our side. Deleting the app removes everything Keyaway stored, except the printed key you are holding.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
